I serve as
librarian for grades Kindergarten through Fifth grade at the Glenwood
School in San Rafael,
California. My husband had a twirling "helix" structure
in his office at home and I asked him if I could bring it to hang in the library.
Since the first day I set it up on display, this "dancing helix" intrigued
the children, who would touch it and watch its changing patterns. The students,
teachers, and other visitors have all enjoyed watching it, and this twirling
sculpture adds stimulation to the learning atmosphere in our school library.
The students absolutely love it.

The Dancing Helix that hangs in one of our operatories has been a positive
addition. Going to the Dentist is very unnerving and our patients
have commented on how
the energy and peaceful movement of the mobile has eased their tension
and apprehensiveness. Patients walk out calmer then when they came in
and many ask where they can find
Dancing Helix for their own homes. In my opinion every dental office could
benefit from having this product in the patient rooms.

The Dancing
Helix takes me on a fascinating journey of cause and effect with its undulating
pulses and sensual gyrations. The beauty of its opposing
forces intermingling, interchanging, and transforming provides endless entertainment
and inspiration to all who grace my studio. My creative process has found
an ally with this enchanting device.

A short story - my daughter in law was seriously ill, and my son bought
one of your Dancing Helix for her to look at. I do not know why, but
she got
so much
comfort from the Dancing Helix, and right up to the day she died this
September, I felt she knew the Dancing Helix was there for her giving
her comfort. I
have a six bed board and care home in Novato, and thought the addition
of a Dancing
Helix would brighten the home and offer the same comfort.

I love my crystal Dancing Helix [hanging at home]! We have lots of fun with our black and
white beaded Helix in the lab. Everyone comes by to play with it when they need an excuse to
"goof off" for a while (the "play solitaire till you win" break has been replaced by the "disturb the
Dancing Helix and wait till it returns to equilibrium" break)

We
received your package and are in awe of the Dancing Helix. It's remarkable.
It represents air, wind, movement, color, light, science, reflectivity,
creativity, contemplation, etc etc. As we all stood around oohing
and aahing over it
and trying to figure out where to hang it, I realized we need to
re-do our entire
office as there are some spots in need of some rejuvenated energy.
(The result of the Dancing Helix may be an expensive endeavor for us!)

Light...airy...hypnotic...mesmerizing...just
some of the feelings
that swept over me, when I set-up my Dancing Helix. I find it intriguing
that when you upset the motion of the spiraling DNA pattern,
it will take the energy
of the upset work it completely through the spiral from top
to bottom and then return itself to its original pattern...a perfect example
of
an organized
energy
flow.

I use the
Dancing Helix in my meditation groups for focus and to break up old patterns.
In the Feng Shui of the room, I use it for
energy clearing.
I have recommended
it for many of my Feng Shui Practitioner friends. In the
morning sun, the crystals radiate a wonderful rainbow of color.

Dear Laury,
Months ago I bought a helix and a golden heart. Both as gifts and they are
showstoppers-
My husband has one in his dental office and gets compliments
daily and the heart
is in my office area and it too, is a delight and often commented on.
Thank you for such a splendid effort. And they do make a difference in the
environment!

You did a
great job at designing this Helix! I am still amazed at it when I go over
to my friends house here in Seattle
and see it working.
It's quite the art. He got his last week in Chicago. Not sure where
but when I seen it I said I got to have one! He bought some little blue
and
green lights(sorta
like Christmas lights)and put down at the bottom facing up so that
it gives it some light in the nite hours. It shines thru the whole Helix
and
onto
the ceiling!
You can watch it from the ceiling and it's pretty neat at the different
designs the lights give it when it turns! Something I'll probably end
up doing as well
when I get mine. Is there any particular care we should take? Any place
it shouldn't be placed? For the investment, I want to take care of
it! Thanks
again for your
reply and what a job you did with this thing, "a job well done!".

I *love*
[my Dancing Helix]. I play with it all the time. My kids love it too.
I am going to bring it in to the school where
I teach next week and I am sure it will be a big hit. My only regret
is not getting the six footer...I
thought it would be too big for my space, but now I
wish I had gone for it. Oh well, maybe I will give
this one to the school and get another when I can
afford it.
Great
invention!

The Dancing
Helix is incredible. It is absolutely memorizing, as you know. I put a
focused flashlight on the floor under it which makes
a pretty nice
addition (for lack of a better term). You might think about
incorporating a light in the
housing for your next generation helix.

Happy spring!!
Many people who enter my home and see the Dancing Helix, they want to know
how to get one...
Thank you again for the beauty, motion and peace it brings.

Twirly
Things,
Love your
Dancing Helix. We have it hung from a cathedral ceiling and I am constantly
fascinated
by the process of the turning. Even
my eight year old grandchildren think
it is most intriguing. How you created it continues to baffle me
but I do
love the
action.
Thanks
